
Landdistribution completed in Svenstrup Kær
On October 25, 2017, a public landdistribution-meeting was held for the landdistribution in Svenstrup Kær.
At the meeting, the Agriculture Commission was able to issue an order without objection, and thus the land distribution was completed.
With the ruling, all land that has been part of the landdistribution will change by the cutting date of November 1, 2017.
The work on the landdistribution has been going on for almost a year, and there have been many good conversations with the private landowners in Svenstrup Kær, both about the landdistribution itself, but also about the imminent nature restoration measures and the future nature conservation in the love.
A total area with the landdistribution is approx 47 acres. In addition to the Danish Nature Agency and the Municipality of Jammerbugt, 17 private landowners have sold and / or acquired land.
The landdistribution has provided a better arrangement of the land in relation to the future nature conservation, and both the Danish Nature Agency and the Municipality of Jammerbugt have acquired areas that enable a number of hydrological measures to be realized, among other things. in relation to the restoration of springs and Svenstrup Å.
With the new ownership structure, Jammerbugt Municipality continues in collaboration with the private landowners and the Danish Nature Agency to work to lift the state of nature in Svenstrup Kær.
